Hong Kong Wetlands Park

Spring news...

Hong Kongs Chief Executive Opens The Wetland Park

Donald Tsang declared the Hong Kong Wetland Park open on 20th May 2006 and encouraged people to introduce “this treasure of nature and world-class green tourism facility to friends and relatives overseas”. The 10,000 square metre visitor centre, along with its 60 hectares of recreated wetlands, were masterplanned, designed and supervised by MET Studio over the last 5 years. With three major interactive exhibition galleries (including a walkthrough swamp with live crocodiles), and extensive exterior interpretation, the Park will be a focal point for local and regional conservation education. It has already proven to be enormously popular with the public.
